I am leading an Equip Group on Wednesday nights (1/20-3/10/2021; 6:15-7:15pm; Whitesburg Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL, Room 215) primarily facilitating Ken Ham’s book “Powerful Answers on Suffering and Loss: How Could a Loving God…?” I would love if you are able to join us in person. We start with chapter 1 next Wednesday (1/27).

Another good recent article sharing some wisdom from a painful death of his mom by a fellow DTS allumni.

I liked five of his discovery takeaways reminders from his grief: 1) Grief is normal, 2) Grief testifies to the goodness of God, 3) Grief reminds us that God is God, 4) Grief reminds us that we are not God, and 5) Grief reminds us death is an enemy.
Love his conclusion. “In the face of loss, we surely grieve, but we do not do so as those without hope (1 Thess 4:13–14). Hope is the reason that we can cry, and amid our tears, we can also smile.”
